This report was written on May the 3rd in the year 2011 and represents an attempt to quantify the bang you get for your buck when purchasing chicken legs at this time. While not a scientific study; it is the end result of one old man’s research who has too much time on his hands. (If I had a dime for every time I’ve heard that)! My purpose is to put out information that might be useful for comparison purposes at some time in the future. (In 1900, chicken cost about .07 cent a pound. By 1999, that figure had risen to .99 cent a pound. Today, it cost me 1.49 a pound). Some of my data was gleaned from a webpage called ‘The 1900’s’.
